Home Hardware Announces the Appointment of New Vice president, Store Operations and Ecommerce

St. Jacobs, ON, June 2, 2021– Home Hardware Stores Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Wallace as Vice-President, Store Operations and eCommerce, effective June 28, 2021.

Wallace brings 30 years of home improvement experience to the position, including roles in Retail Applications, Merchandise Services, Public Relations, and most recently, Vice-President, Marketing.

“We are thrilled to announce Rob Wallace as our new Vice-President, Store Operations and eCommerce,” said Kevin Macnab, President & CEO, Home Hardware Stores Limited. “Rob has played a key role strengthening and integrating our marketing program and building a strong marketing team. He is a proven leader who will bring a strategic and results-oriented approach to Store Operations and eCommerce and will help drive our Dealer success.”

Directly reporting to Wallace will be: Store Operations - Darrin Sayles, Store Operations Support - Dale MacPherson, Dealer Support - Sherri Amos, Space Planning & Store Design - Laura Collaton, Communications - Jessica Kuepfer and eCommerce - Chris Parsons. This expanded new role supports the announcement from Darrin Noble earlier this month that he will step back from the business to spend more time and support his family.

“I would like to thank Darrin for his tremendous contributions to Home Hardware over an impressive career and particularly his time at BeautiTone Paint and Home Products where he has built a very strong and successful business,” added Kevin Macnab. “Darrin’s leadership and support has helped Home Hardware remain a significant player in the home improvement industry. I wish Darrin and his family all the best on their next chapter.”

Our manufacturing operations at BeautiTone Paint and Home Products and W.D. Packaging will transition to our Logistics team under an expanded role for John Dyksterhuis, Vice-President, Logistics. Darrin Noble will assist in a support role through this transition as we hire a Director, Manufacturing to support these businesses. Wallace will continue to oversee Marketing while the company recruits for the vacancy.
