Break Out Your BBQ and Patio Furniture: Warm Weather Season is Here!

Patio season is finally here so it’s time to set up your outdoor gear and plan your first get together. Give your outdoor furniture a good cleaning and check for any damage. You may want to upgrade your patio table or bistro set for outdoor dining, or consider a new outdoor sectional and patio chairs. If all that’s required is a refresh, then bright-coloured patio cushions with a matching patio umbrella might do the trick. Small patio furniture is also available if space is at a premium. If you have a big back yard maybe this is the year to invest in a gazebo or pergola. Don’t forget to inspect your grill too. Will a thorough cleaning suffice or is it time for a new BBQ or smoker? If your backyard parties run on past sundown you might want to add some outdoor lighting, along with a patio heater or outdoor fire pit for cooler evenings. 

You’ll want your lawn and garden to look their best for neighbours and guests as well. Make sure your lawn care tools are in good working order, including your lawn mower, grass trimmer, and leaf blower. Try to get your planting done early too. Add soil where needed, put seeds and bulbs in the ground, and do any weed and pest control spraying in advance of your first feast.
