KIDDE Wire-In Photoelectric and Ionization Smoke Detector

The Kidde Pi2010CA is a 120 V AC, wire-in smoke alarm with 9 V battery backup that can function as a stand-alone unit or interconnect with up to 24 Kidde devices (of which 18 can be initiating). This smoke alarm combines both photoelectric and ionization sensors to offer the best protection against both fast flaming and slow smoldering fires.

• Photoelectric technology: sensitive to smoldering and other fires
• Ionization technology: sensitive to fast flaming and other fires
• 120V AC direct wire; interconnectable with other Kidde alarms
• Test/rest button tests circuitry and resets alarm

• Quickly silences nuisance alarms
• Wait at least 7 minutes for the Hush mode chirp to cancel on its own
• Any chirps after this time will indicate a defect or a low battery
• Reinstall the battery making sure that hand does not touch the Hush button, and making sure that it is not resting/pressing on a table when inserting the battery (as this will automatically press the Hush)
