For added security and charm, install this ornamental thumb gate latch that automatically latches for in swinging or out swinging gates. For use on single-latching gates, swinging barn doors and animal pens, it can be installed for right or left hand applications and has a loop to attach a padlock if desired. The latch releases by raising the latch lever and has an added loop to install the included pull cord if needed. It is made of zinc plated steel so it is rust resistant and comes with screws for easy installation.
