A missing power tool accessory can quickly sideline your project or repair. If the task needs a drill make sure you’ve got a drill chuck key and full collection of drill bits. A pocket hole jig will also be useful if you’re drilling on an angle. A woodworking project will likely require cutting so you’ll want to have extra saw blades and planer blades on hand. Sharp router bits will make using your router much easier, and if you’re cutting holes for dowels you’ll need a set of hole saws. If you’re building something for inside the home you’ll want to do some sanding as well. Check your sanding pads and sanding discs for wear before smoothing down the surfaces.
Any metal work will probably require cutting, grinding, deburring, and polishing. So you’ll need cutting wheels, grinding discs, wire wheels, and a buffing wheel. An oscillating tool can be used on drywall, plastic, grout, masonry, wood, and even soft metal. A full set of oscillating blades will keep you ready to work on almost any material.
